Returning from METSTRADE 2025, one thing is certain: this year’s show was one of the most vibrant and meaningful chapters in our 10-year journey in Amsterdam.

A Stand That Never Stood Still

‍From the moment the doors opened, our stand at the Slovenia Pavilion was alive with demonstrations, conversations, and discoveries. This year, our centrepiece was a replica “Totem” boat — a compact yet fully functional showcase of the Sentinel ecosystem. It allowed visitors to experience our technology exactly as it works on board.
At the stand, we demonstrated the full capabilities of our Boat Monitor in real-world scenarios, highlighting new features including advanced camera integrations, seamless MFD connectivity, and expanded system interoperability. These previews offered a first look at what’s coming next — with even more to be revealed in January. The response was overwhelming — visitors loved seeing their favourite marine systems talking to each other effortlessly, powered by Sentinel.

Meaningful Meetings — Planned and Unexpected

Many of our meetings were scheduled weeks in advance, yet some of the most exciting opportunities came from spontaneous drop-ins. These moments often lead to long-term cooperation — and this year, several did. We wrapped up METS with new OEM collaborations confirmed and many more in progress. Our stand mirrored the industry’s pulse: lively, open, and ready to spark new ideas.

Sentinel Partner Program‍

One highlight was meeting many of our recently certified Sentinel partners and installers in person — professionals who joined our Partner Program through online training. Seeing them at our stand reinforced why the program matters: it empowers local marine experts, expands our global footprint, and gives boat owners reliable, nearby installation partners. Just 4 months after launching the program, we already count over 100 partners worldwide — and METS added even more.

Introducing Sentinel GO and New Bundles for Boat Owners

‍This METS also marked a shift: for the first time, we introduced Sentinel not only to OEMs and fleets but also directly to boat owners.Boat builders can now offer Sentinel GO — the hardware-free set of features within the Sentinel app — as a standard feature for their customers. It gives every new owner an entry point into smart boating from day one. When they’re ready to take the next step, they can easily upgrade through the in-app Upgrade section, choosing from curated hardware bundles and full smart boating systems. Our expanding network of certified installers ensures a smooth, professional installation experience for every owner.

Industry Highlights from METSTRADE 2025

METSTRADE 2025 set a new benchmark for the global leisure-marine industry, filling the entire RAI Amsterdam and bringing together an exceptionally broad mix of international professionals and exhibitors.This year placed a stronger spotlight on sustainability and next-generation technology, with an expanded “Next Gen Zone” showcasing advances in energy-efficient propulsion, eco-friendly materials, foiling, and startup-driven environmental solutions.

The Superyacht Zone and the new refit cluster underscored the rising worldwide demand for refit and maintenance services, reflecting the growing and aging global fleet.Innovation remained front and center through the DAME Design Awards and the Boat Builder Awards, recognizing standout achievements in product design, craftsmanship, and systems engineering.

Overall, the event reinforced a clear shift within the sector: sustainability, smart innovation, and global connectivity have moved from emerging trends to the new standard shaping the future of leisure marine.

A Successful METSTRADE — and a Motivated Team

Looking back, METSTRADE 2025 was more than just successful. It was energizing. We returned home tired, but inspired — fueled by new partnerships, strengthened relationships, and a renewed sense of direction as we enter our next decade of innovation.
